T-Level Health: Adult Nursing

We are excited to be introducing the T-level in Health: Adult Nursing. This gives you the chance to gain an industry-relevant qualification, equivalent to three A-levels, which will take you on to university, apprenticeships and beyond.

T-levels are new qualifications introduced by the government and designed in partnership with employers. The aim is to make sure young people are learning in a way that prepares them for the workplace.

At Mulberry UTC, we will be offering the T-level in Health: Adult Nursing from September 2022 onwards. This will give you the knowledge and skills to move into a career in nursing or related areas.

In this course, you will learn about:

  • The clinical assessments undertaken by nurses
  • Techniques needed by nurses when working with patients
  • How to create care plans
  • How to support patients to stay healthy

Health T-level students will spend time being trained in the school’s hospital ward and will also make use of the care suite. These fantastic facilities ensure students are well-prepared for the working world. The T-level also includes 45 days of placement in healthcare settings.

T-level entry requirements:

  • At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-4
  • GCSE English, Maths and Science at least grade 4
