This term, learning in Digital Media prioritised subject and industry expertise, alongside developing student experiences that simulate professional encounters.

Year 13 students have been engaged in an employer-led project with the BFI, following a brief to develop a one-minute promotional film about the work of the BFI as an institution.

The 17 students worked on three pitches, met staff at BFI, had the opportunity to film ‘on location’ there, and had a behind-the-scenes tour of the IMAX where they saw the film roll in the projection booth. They’re looking forward to presenting their work to their ‘clients’ at the end of term.
